On the night of November 25th, some physically or mentally challenged students of Soochow University impressed the audience with their music talents at Wangxing Square. Through eight music performances including Guzheng solo, rock music, and choral singing, these special students entertained and inspired the crowd with their passion and the spirit of never giving up.
Among the spectators was SU Vice President Bau-Tscheng Dung, who reminded everyone that “each person has his or her own value and we should not confine ourselves but be brave to push ourselves to our limit.”
This annual concert of students with disabilities offered them an opportunity to show their music talents, and was an unforgettable party for the physically or mentally challenged students who are about to graduate this coming June.
Toward the end of the event, all performing students sang “We Will Get There,” which is originally sung by the singer Yen-Tzu Sun, with the faculty and staff of Health and Counseling Center.
