Over 500 senior citizens and audience in Miaoli enjoyed the singing performance brought by SU Alumni Chorus in a winter warmth-giving party held by Concord Charity, marking the 19th year of this charity event.
Led by the chorus’ president Jun-Mei Ma, more than 50 members gathered at Toufen Junior High School in the city in central Taiwan and brought four songs with joy as the highlight of the event.
The Miaoli Concord Charity also awarded certificates of appreciation to over 10 charity groups, including the SU Alumni Chorus, to express gratitude for their helping the elderly who have lived alone.
Following the performance, the alumni enjoyed a tasty Hakka-style banquet as well as a series of activities such as coffee brewing, pottery making, and painting.
