The 5-year specialized accreditation of School of Business at Soochow University has been renewed on February 8th, 2022, by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the longest-serving accrediting organization for business schools worldwide.
AASCB accreditation represents one of the highest standards of excellence in business education and has been achieved by only 5% of the world’s business schools. Currently 926 institutions across 60 countries have earned the accreditation, and Soochow’s School of Business was initially accredited by AACSB in 2017.
The School of Business regularly arranged numerous assurance of learning (AOL) seminars and AACSB task force meetings to maintain this accreditation before the continuous improvement review (CIR), and dazzled the members of CIR committee with overall academic performance and the honor of being selected as the beacon bilingual college of “The Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College” (BEST) by the Ministry of Education.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CIR visit was proceeded via virtual meetings from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3, 2021. The new Dean of the School of Business Jin-Shyang Roan attributed the success to the previous and joint efforts from all the staff, faculty and students of SU’s business school.
