Four Years in a Row: SU Honored with National Central Library’s Academic Impact Awards

Winning three accolades this year for its contribution in degree thesis/dissertation availability and accessibility, Soochow University garnered Taiwan Academic Impact Awards for the fourth straight year, according to National Central Library’s announcement on March 31^st, 2023.

Recognized with its outstanding performance in the category of degree thesis/dissertation, SU ranked among the top five private universities in Taiwan in three of the four major sub-indexes: the number of electronic full-text authorizations, the number of full-text downloads, and the rate of full-text downloads.

The results were based on data collected from the three major reference portals maintained by National Central Library for years: “National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan,” “Taiwan Citation Index –Humanities and Social Sciences,” and “Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature System.”
