Evaluated again by the Talent Development Quality Management System (TTQS) developed by the Workforce Development Agency of the Ministry of Labor, Soochow University’s School of Extension Education was awarded a silver medal in the version of Training Organizations in October 2021, a big step forward from last year’s bronze medal.
This year, only 13 of the 45 university-level extension education institutes had received a silver (11 winners) or gold medal (2 winners) across Taiwan. On par with National Open University and Chinese Culture University, SU is one of the only three schools in northern Taiwan that earned a silver medal while no schools nabbed gold medals.
The success should be partly ascribed to the training given by Dr. Wen-Tsann Lin, professor of the School of Management at National Chin-Yi University of Technology, the help from SU alumnus Mr. Mao-Ching Huang, General Manager of SBou Consulting Corporation, as well as the thorough presentation performed by Professor Ji-Zheng Wu, Director of the School of Extension Education, during the evaluation.
The previous TTQS evaluation result for SU’s School of Extension Education was a bronze medal, but with the effort of providing the best lifelong learning environment, Soochow University had made significant progress and achieved another outstanding and even better performance in this latest TTQS evaluation.
