In response to the increasing needs for distance learning under the impact of COVID-19, SU’s Instructional Technology Division is offering the latest series of online courses on MOOCs: Learning Authentic Japanese Conversation from Japanese Culture, which will be available starting September 30th, 2022, featuring Professor Tsung-Ho Lee of the Department of Japanese Language and Culture.
Allowing students to access the videos anywhere and anytime depending on their own schedules, the course provides several short films each week, in which Professor Lee will have an interactive talk with a guest with rich knowledge of a specialized topic of Japanese culture, accompanied with demonstrations and explanations given by two native-speaking teachers of Japanese.
The course has taken one year in recording and production, and includes six topics, each of which consists of short videos of five to fifteen minutes as well as fun quizzes to help students review the course contents with a more efficient learning experience.
The course is free of charge, and online registration has started. For more information, please key in the course title at the official website of TaiwanLife, or click https://reurl.cc/XVjRO0 to register for the course.
