At the U-start Award Ceremony on November 15, 2024, Soochow Co-site team “Superlaty” earned the Outstanding Team Prize in the second phase of the U-start Plan for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, receiving a NT$400,000 bonus. Among hundreds of competing groups, only 20 were recognized with this honor.
Led by Cheng-Hsuan Li from the Department of International Business, with team members Kuan-Ting Chen and Chih-Cheng Chen, Superlaty developed an innovative digital membership system using NFT and ERC-6551 blockchain technologies. This award highlights their technological achievements and inspires them to continue advancing their work.
Since joining the Soochow Co-site in 2022, Superlaty has benefited from the mentorship of the chief mentor Lu-Yen Wang, supported by other advisors An-Bo Lin, Shih-Kai Chen, and CEO Mei-Ling Cheng. Their guidance in proposal development and resource coordination helped the team achieve success after extensive field testing.
Beyond the U-start competition, Superlaty has excelled in numerous national innovation contests across Taiwan, securing over 10 awards this year. These accomplishments not only validate their technical prowess but also strengthen their ability to expand into new markets. The team aims to lead in the digital economy, setting an example for young entrepreneurs and inspiring Soochow students to explore the tech and startup fields.
