Soochow University and BYM Alliance, which consists of Bailing, Yangming, and Minglun High Schools, formed strategic ties by signing an agreement in Dyson Memorial Hall at Waishuanghsi Campus on July 29th, 2020. In the years to come, Soochow will strength cooperation with the three high schools on offering courses, sharing learning resources, and providing career guidance.
Attending the ceremony were SU President Wei-Ta Pan, Dean of Office of Academic Affairs Chan-Long Jan, Dean of School of Foreign Languages and Cultures Shang-Kuan Chang, Dean of School of Big Data Management Chin-Hsiung Hsu, and Director of Teaching and Learning Center Hui-Chun Chu.
Bailing High School Principal Ying-Fei Zhang, Yangming High School Principal Zhe-Ming Cai, and Minglun High School Principal Jing-Ying Hong all attended the signing ceremony, showing how important they consider the collaboration with Soochow.
President Pan stressed that in this pandemic era, humans must take measures to face significant changes and embrace these challenges with active and innovative thinking.
Director Zhu introduced SU’s learning resources to the teachers from the three high schools, who showed strong interest in and had a great impression on the diversified learning environment in Soochow, especially the Learning Commons and the Virtual Studio.
