SCU’s vice president Bau-Tscheng Dung and other school executives arrived at Kinmen on August 15th, 2018, before signing cooperation agreements with National Quemoy University and National Kinmen Senior High School. They received hospitality from both schools amid an atmosphere to share resources with each other and create more opportunities of cross-strait and international exchanges.

The cooperation agreements focus on student’s international exchange programs and the sharing of library resources, through which a stronger and closer cross-school system can be built to share academic resources and strengthen cooperation and communication. By promoting distance learning courses and holding academic and student club activities, it will increase students' learning opportunities and expand their horizons.

In the future, both Soochow and the National Kinmen Senior School will start to support each other's hardware and software resources and participate in academic seminars and other activities. Moreover, they will offer special counseling services or lectures for the senior high school students and as well as opportunities for the School’s teachers and students to visit Soochow’s campuses. At the same time, students of Kinmen High School are also welcome to take pre-college courses in Soochow, and those who earn passing grades may apply for credit exemption after admitted to the University.

The National Kinmen Senior High School has been the only high school in Kinmen County and survived two artillery battles on September 3, 1954 and August 23th, 1958. The School’s president Jun-Ren Liao said that Soochow University had been one of his dream universities when he was a student, and that it has enjoyed great reputation in the field of law, politics, and business management. These are the most valuable resources that Kinmen Senior High School has lacked the most.
