17 Units Recognized for Excellent Performance in 2017-18 Academic Year

Seventeen school units, including eight administrative offices and nine academic departments, received recognition on April 8^th, 2019 for their excellence in executing school projects in the academic year of 2017-18.

The evaluation on a total of 251 subprojects across all school units were completed and sent to the School Development Plan Review Committee for final review on June 5^th, 2018.

The eight administrative offices winning the honor were: the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of General Affairs, the Office of Research Development, the Office of International and Cross-Strait Academic Exchange, the Personnel Office, the Accounting Office, the Office of Physical Education, and the Chaplain’s Office.

The nine academic departments getting outstanding rating included: the School of Science, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Microbiology, the Department of Psychology, the School of Business, the Department of Economics, the Department of Computer Science and Information Management, the Undergraduate Program of Business, and the Executive Master of Business Administration.

Soochow University Vice President Wei-Liang Chao awarded certificates of merits to the above administrative offices and academic departments in recognition of their hard work. He also encouraged faculty and staff members to do their best for the University to create a better teaching and learning environment.
