Six professors from Soochow University have been distinguished in two major global rankings: Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists 2025 and the latest ScholarGPS Highly Ranked Scholars report.

These recognitions highlight the outstanding academic influence of Professors Pi-Guey Su, Yung-Ho Chiu, Judy Chuan-Chuan Lin, Jih-Jeng Huang, Hui-Chun Chu, and Yun-Fang Tu across multiple disciplines.

Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists list, built using data from the Scopus citation database, assesses research impact through measures such as total citations, the Hirsch h-index, the Schreiber co-authorship-adjusted index, and citation counts for single-author or first/last-author papers. The 2025 update identifies the top 2% of scientists worldwide across 22 main fields and 174 subfields. SU professors excelled in areas including Information Systems, Education, and Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing.

These international accolades underscore Soochow University’s strong commitment to research excellence and reflect the far-reaching contributions of its faculty to the global academic community.
