Lau Wong Fat Secondary School Visits SU Again to Strengthen Educational Exchange

Soochow University warmly welcomed teachers and students from Hong Kong's Lung Kong World Federation School Limited Lau Wong Fat Secondary School (LWFSS) for their second visit to campus on May 21, 2026. The return visit reflected the growing partnership between the two institutions and Hong Kong students’ strong interest in studying in Taiwan and experiencing university life.

During the tour, the Office of International and Cross-Strait Academic Exchange presented a comprehensive overview of SU's diverse academic programs, international opportunities, and student support resources. The visiting students actively participated in discussions with faculty members and gained a deeper understanding of the University’s academic environment and campus life, expressing strong interest in enrolling at Soochow University.

To help the Hong Kong students learn more about studying in Taiwan, SU invited three current Hong Kong students to share their experiences. Through open conversation about academic learning, campus life, and adaptation to Taiwan, these students provided invaluable insights that deepened the prospective students' understanding of studying abroad and strengthened their confidence in pursuing higher education in Taiwan.

SU is committed to fostering partnerships with secondary schools across Hong Kong, including Lau Wong Fat Secondary School, and exploring diverse collaborative opportunities. Building on this partnership, Soochow looks forward to welcoming more Hong Kong students and further strengthening Taiwan-Hong Kong educational ties while expanding the University’s global presence.
