SU Wins National Central Library’s Academic Impact Awards for 3rd Straight Year

According to National Central Library’s announcement on March 28^th, 2022, Soochow University nabbed four honors in academic impact, including Best Accessibility Award, Best Communication Award, and Best Resources Contribution Award in the category of theses and dissertations, and Instant Communication Award in the category of periodicals. Dedicated to the sharing of academic resources, SU has achieved success in this award three years in a row.

Soochow’s performance was recognized by the academic community as it was ranked in the top five among all private universities nominated for the awards in the number of authorized electronic full-text papers and the number and rate of downloaded papers, and was ranked fourth among all private universities that have high ranking scores in the National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan.

The Soochow Journal of Japanese Teaching and the Soochow Law Review have won the Instant Communication Award in the linguistics and law categories respectively, and their impact factors (IF) in the recent five years have been ranked among the top five in Taiwan, which shows the two journals are influential and carry high prestige in the academic field.
